SO i recently bought a FSR 2009 american standard strat. I didnt like the bridge placement so i took the back cover off nd put it all the way down, feels alot more comfortable now. Though when i was putting the screws back into the back cover, i realized than one of them was crooked. Im pretty sure that they were perfect before i took them off. I might of accidently screwed it in a little off center. Can this damage the guitar in anyway?

It won't hurt anything. If you want to fix it dip some toothpicks in glue and poke them into the hole, trim them off and rescrew it.

probably not. A lot of people insert the first screw and srew it tight , then move to the next, and repeat all the way through. but to ensure everything lines up and goes in straight, you should insert all screws, only tightening a little, so they stay in without being held, before tightening. Work diagonally across the cover, ie pick one corner to tighten fsrst, then go to the opposite one. that way you don't pulle everything out of alignment. Screws tighten with torque, that is force applied in a circular direction, so when the screws get tight some of that force is applied to the cover, which will move, andpull everything.
