So, here we go again with another Strat Project... the idea is to retain the vintage looks for a late 60's/early 70's model with a few modern upgrades, ie the neck and some electrical stuff. The neck is a Warmoth and I was thinking of pairing it with a Warmoth body. No idea what color I'm going to get yet. I've thought about Lake Placid Blue, Dakota Red, Olympic White, and good ol' 3TSB. I'm thinking of trying one of those ToneShapers for the controls and maybe some GFS 70's Grey Bottom pickups. (Despite the fact they cost $67 a set, I happen to think they're awesome.) Still not sure if I want to go hardtail or trem though? It's the sort of think that keeps me up at night. [/img]

you can find one new on ebay for a pretty fair price, i got one for a partscaster i built and it worked wonderfully
