Hello,

I would like recommendations on a humbucker for my mexican fat strat.
I would like to be able to play jazz, blues, and some rock.
If anyone can help me decide, I would appreciate your input.

Thank you

G'day. What don't you like about the sound of the stock pickup?

For bluesy stuff I find the standard neck pickup on mine does the job nicely and for rock, the standard bridge seems to cut it quite well.

Otherwise quite a few people like the duncan "pearly gates" humbuckers. The thing is if you swap the humbucker out for something else like that, there will (possibly) be a substantial volume difference between the neck, bridge and middle pickups.

The bridge humbucker is way to bright.

I am having great success with the DiMarzio 36th Anniv. P.A.F.

It's vintage output and totally kicks butt!

All the classic rock sounds I grew up with are in there!
And...it won't break the bank!!
