Cool song from the master. I do have to say though that after reading various accounts of what happened to his estate and the people involved with it I feel almost morally bound to only enjoy the completed albums that he left behind when he passed on. I'm not trying to be on some high horse but to me unless the artist was working on something as they died and then it gets finished and released I don't want to hear it. It's just making money off of their demise to me.

I must say that I agree with Hoeycow 100%,Janie hendrix continues to line her pockets with the money that should morally go to Jimi's family.Jimi had 3 brothers Leon,Joe and Alfred and 2 sisters Pamela and Kathy Ira and not one of his surviving siblings or any of his blood relatives get a cent. One can only guess what state of mind Al Handrix(Jimi's father)was in when he gave her the reins of Jimi's estate. It's no secret that on one of Jimi's last calls home he couldn't remember her name. She goes to great lengths to make people feel that she adored her "big brother"and how close they were.I'm curious as to know how close she would have been to her"big brother"if he had gone down the same road as his real brother Leon or if he had been born with the disabilities of his other siblings. She is a hendrix in name only and is nothing but a cynical money hungry mercenary who couldn't care less about the Hendrix family and the true heirs to Jimi's legacy and they're be blizzards in hell before I ever put one cent into her greedy paws.Forgive my rant but besides John Lennon no person has influenced me more in music and life and I am one person who cherishes Jimi's memory and it sticks in my craw to see this opportunistic charlatan get rich while his family is in dire straits.

I agree 100% Guitslinger! Obviously I have no attachment to Jimi Hendrix. The man was gone for nearly 5 years before I was born but his music inspires me and reading a few biographies of his has shown that everything that has gone on with his estate and even what happened to him during his career went against the very spirit of what he believed in.

I understand the sentiments concerning the estate and I repect them. However if there is valid new music from Jimi I would like to hear it.

I know that it's free to listen to I just disagree with "new" music being released just about 40 years after someone has been dead.

yes, what a horrible crime indeed.

i'm sure jimi, like all artists, would hate people listening to and enjoying his art. simply terrible.

Well we agree to disagree then. I appreciate you posting the song for us to hear though. I wish Hendrix was still here.

Valleys of neptune was out years ago. This is the first time experienced Hentricks have released it though.

Jani should be shot. Hendrix didnt have any time for his dad from all accounts, let alone some kid he met once.
