A little question about 'with synchronised tremolo' decal: is it always in parallel to the contour line of the headstock, or can have an angle( just like on the included pic)? Guitar is ST-57 MIJ. I want to know is it fake or not.

It depends on the model of Strat you find it on. I'm not sure if the position of the decal is the best way to pick a fake - there'd be more accurate ways of doing that (checking the specs, for example, or the serial number).

Hi JohnWhiskey: I'd be paying more attention to the heel end of the neck and the neck pocket it comes out of. Show us pictures of those and we can get started! And if the seller doesn't want to show you those bits - well that's a clue, isn't it?

Anyone can put a decal on at the right angle as well as the wrong one, so that tells you little...
