I got a new guitar yesterday and my dad "built" it himself! He took a Fender Squier Bullet Strat body/neck and completely replaced all of the electronics (Texas special pickups by the Fender Custom shop and more), tuners, tremolo bar, pick guard, nobs (aged-white), etc... It's a replica of Stevie Ray Vaughan's number 1 guitar!

It's an amazing guitar, it has a great blues sound!!

He was able to keep it a secret for about a couple weeks while he worked on it!

Here it is:

Nice job, guitar looks great! I like Squires and would use one if the neck was a little wider.

Those squires are great for young players with small hands. My daughter's is perfect for her. Too bad she doesn't realize how the mods' make a difference.
