Hey all, this is my first post here, I hope you guys can help me out. I have an HSS Strat with the S1 switching. I bought a Seymour Duncan TB5 to put in the bridge, but it won't fit due to the arrangement of the screw holes on the Strat's pickguard. Is there some sort of adapter I can get, instead of having a buy a whole new pick guard?

Is it a MIM or MIA strat? You may have to drill a new hole on the pickguard. The MIM has an extra hole on the pickguard where the humbucker mounts.

You will need to either drill another hole, or get a new pickguard. 2 other things to look at before you start - Make sure the pickup fits, you may have to shave the pickguard a bit to make that pickup fit. Also, if you are doing it yourself, the Fender wire colors are not a match with the Duncan colors.
