Hi toadhall, welcome to the Forum.

Is that the six-screw or two-point version of the WVP? Are you installing it in a body with the holes already drilled? If not, you may find a crucial measurement or two missing from that schematic.

So happens, I can help with that if you run into difficulties. Just give us a shout...

Cheers - C

thanks. got the scematic.

The bridge is the two hole version but the holes are actually more grooves than holes.

Check it out

The bridge is going into a undrilled brand new body.

Any handy hints welcome
thx

Hi again: OK, well this is from page 34 of a (so far) 43 page current thread. The author is a wordy swine, but bear with him because halfway down this page he shows you exactly how to go about finding the correct place to drill your Wilkinson bridge holes, what size to drill them, how deep, and what to do in the middle of the bottoms of those holes:

http://www.fender.com/community/forums/ ... &start=495

So now there's no excuses!

PS: a pillar drill or at least a drill press would make this job much easier...

Cheers - C

i would have fallen at the first hurdle. The schematic says 10mm hole and the instructions say 9.5mm.

thanks for your help. Saved me alot of time and probably a shed load of cash.

Very welcome! :D

Don't worry, there's always someone on this Forum who has made the mistakes first, so that you don't have to...

Now. Where's my Wind In The Willows...?
