So which is it? I've read 2 1/16 sometimes and 2 3/16. What is it? I have an '07 Roadhouse with Vintage Tremolo, so what is it????

If you mean the Deluxe Players Strat, it is 2-3/16; the Roadhouse is 2-1/16.

Thanks, its so hard to tell because the Roadhouse is considered a "Deluxe" model, but the tremolo is so non-discriptive from Fender...

I hope the string spacing is right. I've decided to change all my hardware to gold (I know, it will tarnish/wear off) but I think it will go well with my guitar. I just purchased a Fender Vintage Tremolo in Gold from Ebay for $20 including shipping and an American String Tree for $8. I'll be looking for screws and tuners next.

I'm thinking vintage tuners... Any thoughts?

You're welcome.

It is easy to tell by eye: Look at the 6 bolts which hold the tremolo plate to the body of the guitar. By comparing the two sizes side by side, you can clearly see that the bolts are further in and closer together from the left/right edges of the tremolo plate on the 2-1/16 vs. that of the 2-3/16. This is also handy for deciding whether an "F" or "Trembucker" spaced pickup is appropriate vs. a standard spaced humbucker for a particular Fender guitar.
