I hope its all that and a bag of snacks. A co-worker almost bought one, but it was a partscaster, not an '89....

Well, it has a serial number on the neck and from the photos it all looks kosher. But I'll be sure to post pics so I can get confirmation for you guys.

I found a beautiful black MIA strat for $599. Its got a lot of mojo. I'm sure it spent a night in a pawn shop because it sure knows how to sing the blues!

Thnx guys, that was a lucky grab on eBay, couldnt pass on the price for an unmolested 89. It plays really smooth, always scared to take a chance on eBay but the neck feels pretty good. Not used to it since I mostly play 70's guitars with narrower necks, smaller radius and little frets.

I may decide to keep that one and sell my Mustang. :)

Buying a new guitar always makes you want to play even more, doesnt it? Cant wait to get home from work and wail on that tuxedo wearing Strat. My 79 is pissed though, but she's still my number one.
