Has anyone ever been able to tell a difference with any of the following:

Ill be switching parts from a MIM Strat

Upgraded Pots
Switchcraft Input Jack
Switchcraft 5 way switch
Shielding on the entire pickguard
Shielding on the inside cavity under the pickguard on the body
Base Plate (on bridge... and or middle/neck?) Im using CS 69 pickups
Better wire (of the vintage kind)

Im putting a blender pot on my strat and figured while I have the gun out and everything apart then why not.

IMO, if your Strat is 2006 or newer, the only worthwhile changes out of all the potential items you've listed is the Switchcraft jack and the blender pot. YMMV.

Well... look at it like this: all of these mods/upgrades are pretty inexpensive so my take on it is why not? I don't know that you'd need to shield the cavity and have a shielded pickguard but again, why not, it can't hurt.

As far as the bass plate for the bridge pup (I don't know if you'd want or need one on the middle pup for any reason) I've never tried one but have always been curious to try one as I've heard great things about them as far as killing some of the ice picky tone of the bridge pup.

I'd say go for it!
