Beautiful guitars and very tasty the way you setup the shot.Rather than swapping out the pickguard and installing a single coil wouldn't it be possible to install a coil tap to split the pup to single coil and a toggle or a push/pull pot?I don't know if it can be done with the HSS but if it can that's an option that could give you the best of both worlds.

Thanks. I'm actually finding I'm really liking the humbucker; the single coils give me the blues and classic rock and the humbucker is just pure hard rock. Think I'll leave it well alone for now.

Absolutely beautiful... I have a MIM strat midnight wine with rosewood fret board on order been waiting almost 2 weeks. I'll have to ogle your pics for the next day or two.
