i like those chrome knurled knobs on the teles, would like to switch off the
pickguard for a darker one, either a tortie or black, with those knobs.

oh, yeah the guitar i would like to do it to is the hwy 1. 3 tone sunburst.
so i think the contrast would look cool on the pickguard.

the white amp knobs are really growing on me too. eg, john mayer strat.

I would rather disagree, strat better looked with his own knobs!

I have Tele knobs on one of my Strats. I think they look awesome.

I use a Tele knob on the volume control because it's easier to do volume swells. Function is more important to me than having 3 matching knobs. For me, it's not how it looks, it's how it works. It helps my volume swell technique without resorting to a volume pedal because the knobs a little taller and knurled for a better grip.

Actually those are just cheap plastic slide-on knobs I bought as an experiment to see how they'd look. I think they were packaged by "All-Parts". My intention was to get real Tele knobs if I liked them but they looked so good and work so well I decided not to bother spending any more money on it and left it as is. Besides, Tele knobs would only make the guitar heavier.
;^)

I think it depends on the pickguard. Some might suit the knurled chrome knobs better than others.

I have no answer for that. Maybe Martian has some experience.

Go for it if you want--if someone else thinks it looks wrong, weird, or whatever, that's too bad.

it's your guitar.

They have the black and chrome Squier model strat that has the mirrored pickguard and comes with chrome knobs like that. Looked ok. I agree though, it's your guitar, so if you like it, that's all that matters.

I think romapryst is a spammer who tries to lure us into his cr@p links
since he only posted twice, and both has links. I'm always aware of .ru links.

That said, I guess tele knobs looks cool anyways - like 63supro said, if it does the job better, why not ? but still looks cool I agree.
