Hey All,

Can anyone tell me why the American Deluxe strats don't have the "Original Contour Body" decal on the headstock ?

Also, I have an '88 American Standard - same thing

I'm sure there is a simple explanation, or not...

My 99 mia strat does not have it either, my brothers 08 mia strat does. I am not sure why it differs from year to year, but I personally prefer the headstock without the extra sticker.

Production costs are less without them.
