I just got my new American Standard home and my pickup switch isnt working in the 5th position. I have tried other cords, and amps and it appears to be the switch. Has anyone else had this trouble or am I fust the lucky one. Thanks for any help and have a great day. :(

Did you bring it back to the store where you bought it from ? If its new I would think they would honor the warranty and either fix or replace it for free.

You mean the pickup has no output in 5th position? Does the pickup work in the 4th position?

It could be anything, a duff pickup, a loose wire, bad switch contacts.

Its a new guitar and not your job to worry about it. Take it back and get em to fix or replace it.

Return it and be done with it. They have to make it right. Was it working at the store?...................... 8) Mike
