those to guitars is basically the same one but the deluxe players strat has that wonderfull little feature that the white one doesent have its got that little button basicly what that button does is activate the bridge pickup so when your in pos.4 you play all three pickups!!! and in 5 you play bridge and neck very gilmourish :D

Get em Both! Ha! I like the Gold hardware on either. The Samarium Cobalt Noiseless™ Strat® pickups are fuller, smoother sounding than Vintage ones which can be alittle more brittle or harsh, which isn't a bad thing.. Taste.

Based on the two links that you provided; the Strat in the second link would probably be the better of the two choices. It is, according to the description provided, loaded with Fender's new SCN pickups. These pickups of course, are noiseless, yet have a great vintage tone, that overdrives great.

I would go with the Deluxe Player Strat.
The Vintage noiseless are good pickups.
Added versatility of the extra pickup configurations (not quite S1 but nice)
You get to choose the body color and neck. (Trans Blue with the Maple Neck looks sweet!)

I have Vintage noiseless in my American Deluxe and I like them alot.

With a fret polish and some locking tuners you have nearly all the features of my Am Deluxe.
