Both are excellent. IMO, which is "better" will be a personal taste thing ...

+1! Better is in the ear of the beholder! But,I have Texas specials in my strat and love them. I have zero experience with SCN's but know several folks here who swear by them.

I'm not a huge fan of noiseless pickups, and I love my Texas Specials but that's just me. Which one you go with is completely up to you.
