"Shades" ??? You mean extremely subtle variations on a 55 year old
model about which Fender folks can argue for days on end?

My other guitar is a Strat.

the new models are already out.
im guessing your one of those posters that just want to get into the competition.

you mean to tell me....i have a choise of just two Am. Strat Deluxe colors?....thats not at all what i was wanting.

Lets see, what to do now?

I'll need to buy Am. Std Strats and change things out.
1. I like the pop-in trem arms, so ill need to rerplace that
2. Pick-ups, need to change them
3. replace tuners with locking tuners

hmmmm....i need to add this up i might get out cheaper this way
