I got a great deal on some Lace Blue Silver Red Pickups and dropped 'em in my 1988 Olympic White Stratocaster. Pics to follow.

Passive, they have reduced hum over standard passive pickups due to their design.

I sure have. I been "Testing" it all day  The old pick ups were cool but they'd had it. The Neck Pick up (Blue) Is Fat and Mellow, the Mid (Silver) is very much a Strat Pickup, just really Quiet, the Bridge (Red) is where it's at. It's Hot and Crisp, very heavy and it screams.

Even with the three very different pickups it stay balanced from one setting to the next, and it still retains it's Fender Strat Qualities. The Bridge/Mid position still has it's "Cluck" and the Neck/Mid sounds like a Strats Mid/Neck position.

My old 88 is back and ready for action!!
