That one does seem to have dropped from the 2010 line up. However NAMM may change that lineup again.

How curious, as well as dropping the southpaw USA Deluxe Strats, they also discontinued the ash-body Tele and the HSS Strat with the DH1 humbucker bridge pickup and the LSR roller nut. The QMT and FMT versions of the guitar were also gone.

As far as I know, they discontinued the Deluxe HSS Strat "LT" with the Deluxe Locking Bridge Assembly three years ago.

Sounds that Fender decided to stop making the American Deluxes and replacing them with something different!

Keep your chin up lefties. We have always been an after thought. It's not anybody's fault, we're just not a large enough market to warrent special treatment. We can always buy a right hand model and flip it. I've been doing it my whole life. It looks kinda wierd but Jimi did it.

The lefty American Deluxe is shown in the big Fender catalog for 2010. (Which I believe came out at NAMM, just a few days ago.) I don't have it with me right now, but I can check the model/product number, and post it a little bit later...

Hey Sunburst. You mentioned flippin a right handed guitar, re-stringing it I assume. My question is do you replace the nut or flip it also? My first Strat was a right handed white/maple MIM and I loved it, but because of a problem with my left hand I switched to playing left handed. I asked about flippin it a the GC and I was given a bunch of reasons why I shouldn't.

I'm interested in this "flippin" as an option for me. Could you please describe in detail how you do this.

Thanks brother lefty,

Hi folks I am new to guitars and I just got the Left-Handed Strat value pack. So I think there are some out there but you have to Special Order it. I just started learning to play. But this is my first bought guitar I have to say I love it. It is not the same as a flipped Blueshawk that I started learning with.

FWIW, the LH Deluxe is still listed on Fender's Japanese site...
