I was wondering if any of you guys could give me an opinion on a good single coil pickup. I have been playing with the stock pickups that came with the 2008 standard american stratocaster. They are pretty good, but i would like some new single coils with a little more punch to them! Humbuckers are a little too much for my taste since they don't sound that great clean and sometimes the distortion gets a little too much.

I would like to get some classic rock tones with dynamics and that lovely 70's "rock" crunch without switching to humbuckers. Any good single coil choises out there?!?
