Are the necks all that much different aside from the finish being worn of on the RW given they are both 7.25" radius?

Is there any comparison? How about the Deluxe Payers?

Both have the same radius which is easy for rhythm and chording, but the classic have vintage frets, which are harder for me to bend without fretting out, ymmv. The road worn has 6105, the same frets as the SRV and Mayer sig.

Personally I think both should've gone with 9.5 radius with 6105 fret wire. That's the sweet spot for me anyways...

If you play a lot of rhythm and don't bend often, or maybe you have better technique than me, then go for a classic neck. You can always sand down the back with 400 grit and use 0000 steel wool and viola, you have a road worn neck...

I don't own either guitar, I have a srv sig but I'm building a partsocaster and I'm looking for a neck. I'll probably find another srv neck, or a classic player neck with the 12" radius and medium jumbo frets. A good comprimise without spending too much dough.

I thought about that but you still have the vintage frets like you mention. According to the Deluxe Players spec they have a 12" radius neck. This is one that I'm looking at. I didn't know that you could ever get a white one like this. I thought they were more cream and transparent? Looks like a clean guitar anyways.
