The Lace Sensors seem to be a love 'em/hate 'em affair. I have just recently become a huge fan as I have them on my strat pluses.

Thanks very much for your input. I've narrowed them down to Lace, Fender hot Noiseless and Klein S-8's. Have you heard of Kleins?
The more I think about this the more confused and indecisive I become. I should just do it!

You can audition the Kleins here: http://www.kleinpickups.com/c-2-stratocaster-pickups.aspx

No personal experience but check here: http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Electric+Guitar+Pickup/brand/Klein+Pickups Actually not much info here... I did see a review floating around somewhere.

Will you get the 3 gold sensors the same or the hotter one at the bridge?

I'll either get Blue/Silver/hot gold or Blue/silver/red. I'm leaning towards the hot gold on the advice that xhefrie has given me.

I am a huge fan of EMG SA's.

I never thought I would like them, but they are incredibly versatile and musical.
