I can't argue his chops, but he's very generic. He needs to find his own unique groove. He's not playing him, he's playing everyone else.

I agree. Like I said in another thread, this guy is another "Strat with a Hat" only- he isnt wearing a hat. I must say his hair does match his CAR.

I like his playing, and nice to watch- it has been copied and copied and copied...

He is playing from what I see, a MIJ with a Kahler trem... I hope Lomitus and Jay see so they can confirm. I thought it was a floyd to begin with ;)

Nah. His tone is like an icepick in the forehead, he has no finesse or originality in his chops and his vocals are horrible. They're like an American Idol train wreck. He does play with authority. That's always a plus. But like others have said, he seems to be expressing somebody else. Not even a Strat with a hat. Just my honest opinion.
