I traded my Lonestar Strat for a Roadhouse Strat. Both MIM and made the same year, but would anyone else do the same? I wish there was a hybrid verison of these guitars. Rosewood fretboard and three single coils... Was I crazy???

It was the 3 single coils calling you wasnt it?Fortunately I have the MIA version with the best of both worlds.I have a rosewood neck and 3 single coils.Too bad there arent more choices like a rosewood or maple neck with either guitar.

If you like the new guitar and are happy to play it then you made the right choice.

I wish you many happy hours playing your new guitar!

I prefer the three single coils. I think you made a good choice.

Depends on how they sounded and played. If you like the differences, then it was a good trade for you.

I have a nice white Roadhouse that I am trying to talk myself into putting a Classic Players neck on.

We are thinking on the same wavelength DetroitBlues.

If you are happy and content with it, you surely made the right choice.

Both the Lone Star and the Roadhouse have Texas Specials. The main difference is that the Lone Star has a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates Plus humbucker at the bridge... the Roadhouse has 3 single coils.

The other difference is the fretboards. The Roadhouse has maple, the Lone Star has rosewood.

Oh, and I think DetroitBlues made the right choice. :)
