I was wondering if anyone here has owned both for comparison purposes. I have the 98 BG strat (US one with Lace Golds). Curious about the differences in sharpness of the V and the thickness and taper toward 12th fret. My BG is pretty fat at the 12th fret. It's not at all like the Modern Clapton strat (never played an early edition EC strat to compare mine with). I'm also wondering if the modern BG strat uses the same updated Clapton neck as well...
