Post subject: Hwy1 strat question

Lately I've seen a number of Hwy1 Strats on sale (used) with the smaller headstock. I thought all Hwy1 Strats had the large 70s' style headstock or am I missing something?

before the hwy1 upgrade a few years back all the hwy1's had the smaller headstock.
