Dean Markley Blue Steel .10's for me. They seem to last for a gig or two and hold a good tone the whole time. I've found if I leave them on for 3 or more gigs (4 hour average per gig) they start to break. I just haven't found anything that sounds better for that long.

D'Addario XL 120 9-42's. I like them because they stay bright for a long time They last at least a week when I'm playing one axe heavily. 10 pack sets are pretty cheap too; some place even ship free making the savings that much better. This is one of the few things I would rather buy online than from my local music shop. Can't beat $40 and sometimes as low as $35 for a ten pack...

I can tell you this! Just changed strings on my strat. I've always used D'addario 009 nickel wound, and now I have changed to a little thicker set, 0095, D'addario of course. They are somewhere between 009 and 010.
And I adore it! Just what I've been looking for. I used to play 010 briefly, and I was thinking about maybe going back to 010, but these, I tell you, these are awesome.
D'addario super light plus exl 120+ nickel wound! Couldn't be happier!

Those are the hardest strings I ever tried, very stiff.

I like Daddario .09 or DR´s.

D'Addario XL .009-.042 for me. This hard to pronounce brand has always been good to me. The strings last and they're readily available. I can still get them for five bucks a pack in my town. I used to try all the different brands and always came back to these.

When I started (1967), I used either a Black Diamond or a Gibson Sonomatic .012 gauge set. In and through most of 1968, I used Fender XL-150s and then, SL-150s. A friend of mine gave me a set in late 1968 of Ernie Ball Extra Slinkys (.008 gauge set) after a gig both our bands played at. He urged me to try them as he loved them. I played the set out, loved them but they were a tad too light. I switched to Super Slinkys (.009 gauge set) immediately thereafter. So, from October 1968 to be exact, right up through this typing, I've been using Super Slinkys ever since. The price is right, they are readily available and they do everything I require them to do. Sure, over the years I've tried virtually all the major brands out there but I always came immediately back to the Ernie Balls. Like I always say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

I have used D'Addario XL 10/11's for years. Recently put GHS Burnished Nickel 11's on and couldn't be happier with tone and feel. My guitar just sounds better, intonation was a breeze and I haven't had to tune my guitar in over a week (Deluxe Strat with LSR roller nut and locking tuners) which wasn't the case with the D'Addario's. I think I found my new brand.

Primarily I use GHS Boomers on my electrics. I sometimes use Super Bullets on my Mustang.

I like Boomers because they feel good, sound good, and they are among the lower priced strings, without getting into the generic/store brand strings--which aren't worth the savings.

I used to use Ernie Ball, but I find them too rough feeling these days.

D'Addarios I like as well.

I like Ernie Ball and D`Addario the best. I will use Fender strings if I can get them cheap.

Not super picky except I never liked GHS or Dean Markley Blue Steels.

Primarily Ernie Ball of the slinky persuasion.

Most of my electrics have Regular Slinkies. My Jaguar and Les Paul have the Heavy Bottom set. My LTD MH 301 has super slinkies. I have D'Adarios on my 7 string because when I bought it new in 1999, no one else had 7 string packs. I never switched to EB for some reason. I'm a creature of habit I guess.
