So you go from a beat up 60 watt tube amp to a solid state amp designed for acoustic guitars.Do you really know what sounds you want or what you are trying to acomplish?

well if 500 max if i get 500$ dollar amp i will need to save up for a while like work alot or something. but if i know what i want it will motivate me. if i dont get a tube amp i guess thats fine. i just want to sound good, i have an SG wich is my main guitar. and i want to switch pickups in it. but i heard that my pickups were fine and that i need a new amp tand i guess that makes since. so for under 500 what could i get solid state wise or tube wise?
