I'd like to get me one of those (Arctic White) but there seems to be none with a maple fretboard (my preference). I'd also like the Noiseless pickups for the single coil pickups. Any options? Could one do a custom shop order for something like this or am I s.o.l.? :) I realize that I could get a set of Noiseless pups and replace just the two (already have a set on the way for my MIM Strat). Change of neck, otoh, would be a big deal.

Thanks!

Really? No one at all?

You can't simply swap out the neck, now can you? It would need to be a maple fretboard stratocaster neck with the locking nut and be consistent with the guitar type (Standard HSS, same scale length). And you'd need to do adjustment or have it done (bow, etc.). So, it ain't simply removing neck 1 and screwing in neck 2.

Maybe Warmoth has such a replacement neck. I'll have to check.

You would be better tracking down an old American Standard Floyd Rose Hss model I think, as they came in maple neck- although maple neck on a Floyd Rose Strat was not a popular option. They also came with a Dimarzio PAF Pro in the bridge.

Considering what a CS will cost- it will most likely be masterbuilt, if you wanted to go down that road.

I have seen 90's FR Strats in white- allbeit Vintage White which in my opinion looks classier :) Otherwise you will be stuck with a rosewood board

I want to get one of these- although Id love a vintage white if they were to become avail... 8)

So far, no go. Nothing on local craigslist, nothing on eBay, nothing at MusicGoRound. There was an American one on ebay but it sold (or auction ended) about a month ago - any way, it was red with some bad paint damage (possibly body as well), black hardware, and yellowish pickups. Not too bad for the price but not without trying it out in person.

If you find anything that would be great.

I think I found just what you want! Go to GC used and then in the search block type in the stock code 105533541 and hit the search button.

Good luck!

Nice. What kind of locking system is it using at the headstock? Of course, I'll probably ask the store for more details including that. :)

Thanks!
