Hi, I'm going to buy an america deluxe strat and just wanted some opinions on them.

I own the ash aged cherry burst in the American Deluxe VG version. If you like the look of finished wood grain, that's the option for this guitar. My only disappointment is that they did not offer the Sienna Sunburst finish for that guitar. I've seen some gorgeous American Standards in that, particularly where the grain patterns were well matched.

If they sound close to the same I'd go for the cherry,if that's not the case pick the one that has the best sound and feel.

Does anyone know whether the American Deluxe Ash Strat is made of Northern Ash or Southern Swamp Ash?

Aged Cherry Burst. That's the best looking guitar. In my opinion anyway. 8)

I love that finish however the Sienna Sunburst over the right grain pattern is a stormer. Best to have both. 8)
