Happy New Year Strat lovers,
I wanted to ask, has anyone seen or heard of the possibility of a Jim Root
Stratocaster for possible future production? The one i saw was Jim's and he was showing it off a bit. The P/U's were EMG's i think 85/85 or 61 maybe. anyway it seemed to have fixed Bridge. Just wondering" i love the
EMG concept. And Strats are still without a doubt the most versitale guitar in the World. I mean just think about it, short of wanting to mod a custom shop or a total vintage, these are just freaking fun Guitars to play, to customize and anything else you can imagine. Pretty much if you can dream it, it can happen. Best regards, stratmandu

Well I know one thing……if they do come out with a strat and it aint better quality then the Root telecaster they can keep it……I test drove a couple of the tele’s and they were junk. Fit and finish were the worst I have seen on a guitar in years. for and instrument around 11 hundred bucks!!!!! They’re crazy as he!!

I'd like it more if it was not tied to Jim Root. I hate Slipknot. I like strats and EMGs though. Especially the 81/60 combo.
