I play acoustic bluesfolk with acoustic strings on my 010-2500 Fender Stratocaster American Deluxe Plus 22 Fret Fender Floyd Rose Bridge with a LSR nut.

Acoustic strings on an electruc guitar has such depth in expression! I'm getting into slide with it!

The strings I use are Special Edition Fender Acoustic Bronze 12s or 13s. Each pack came with three picks and an extra high E string. The bigger frets help out with the bigger strings.

It gives me my own tone.

The way the guitar is set up by myself gives it a dance hall feel. I play dance songs, hardcore songs and ballads.

Did you have to level the neck off with truss adjustments to account for the extra string tension?

Eh buddy, :D

now i have my Fender Floyd Rose bridge flat on the body of my Stratocaster. i have played it with a brass or glass slide but have not raised the bridge permanently yet but that is what is supposed to happen with that bridge.

the truss rod is almost completely flat.

with the acoustic strings I play with if the bridge was up it gets out of tune quick. With silver bullet or ball end strings it remains in tune for a longer time.

i guess it's the string tension. acoustic bronze strings on my Strat have more tension. but, a music instrument store owner commented the expression of acoustic strings on a Stratocaster was incredible.

it combines acoustic and electric guitar theory on a Fender Stratocaster.

I have five coils. My Stratocaster 010-2500 came with three. it has three Fender Lace pickups: red; white; and blue! It's a natural sunburst finish with a mother of pearl pick guard and a luminous or white maple neck. it has locking tuners that help a lot with the heavier strings. and it has an LSR nut that can be easily replaced; rather than a plastic or bone nut.

i love finger picking. i do that on acoustic and electric guitars. i love acoustic blues/folk. i also own a National Resonator.

i will have my first acoustic bluesfolk album out in the future.

do you have a Floyd Rose bridge? do you have a Stratocaster? do you play acoustic?

try acoustic strings on an electruc guitar. the expression is deep!
