Hello again Martian, I got 3 pickups from different stores (it was quite a quest finding them 3, the local stores had more duncan pickup variety than the big name stores) First of all thank you for the recommendation, I'm loving these set of pickups to death, I had trouble dialing in the bridge pickup before, now it's just amazing, the middle pickup has so much potential than before, I like it as much as the other two.

Again, thank you for the awesome recommendation, the "Martian set"!

I am definitively enjoying them!
Say, Martian, could you give me your input on this issue I'm having with my strat? It's come back from a setup and it's got all of it's problems fixed but one thing seems odd...

Sure. However and I hate to say this, it's bedtime for me now. I promise I'll read and respond first thing in the morning. Or if you prefer, you can e-mail me.

[quote To give a balanced presentation though, there are players who use them as a tasteful tonal tool vs. an 'across-the-board' crutch. FWIW, the same thing can surely be said about Floyds! LOL[/quote]

The problem I'm having is that when I bend the strings, any string, it drops out of tune, the nut is lubed; now when i use the tremolo arm it returns perfectly in tune :?: BTW its a 2008 am std with the 2 point bridge, IF that matters.

BTW... saw a couple of trem arm tips in a blister-pak on eBay for about $5 IIRC. Maybe look there if you want a replacement. FWIW. 8)

The white plastic tip from my tremolo arm fell off, If I rethread it, it falls off again after some use, should I just use some super glue?

I've seen various well-intended suggestions here, but there is a much easier solution. Go to the sales rep @ Guitar Center and explain that you need a new tremolo are for a Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster. Based on personal experience, they will hand you a brand new threaded trem arm with a white plastic tip. Voila - problem solved.
