Hi again everyone, i'm seriously needing to find out if i can get my hands on a thorough list of American standard strat specs. Mine's a 97' model. I'm hoping to find information on things like fret wire size, neck radius, body wood, finish color name, type of pickups etc. I can't find a list anywhere! Thanks very much!

It's a 1st gen American Standard. Medium Jumbo frets, 9" radius neck, American Standard pickups with Delta Tone, Alder, etc...

Either you're not looking hard enough, or you fail at the internet. Info is everywhere.

I thank you for your input, however, i'll pass on the negative comment.

To each his own... I don't enjoy rewarding the lazy... and if I do, I make sure to slip in a horribly degrading comment so people will laugh at you.

Merry Christmas!

I really do appreciate your taking time to help, you sure typed a lot there! I have searched quite a bit under things like fender american stratocaster specifications, fender guitar specs etc, with little luck, and i honestly would be grateful if you could share a link to any website you may have found, if that's what you use, rather than books. My serial number checks out at this site as a 97' model, and that's what i posted above. anyway, here's the guitar:

Merry Christmas to you too!

It is possible that it could be poplar with an Alder veneer. Some time in the 90s Fender was using poplar on the guitars because Alder got scarce/expensive. I'm not sure of the years though.

Send a request complete with serial number to Fender consumer relations. They are usually very prompt and helpful.
