Hey guys hope all are having a wonderful christmas-esk break :D
i was wondering what the pros and cons were of me putting a treble-bleed circuit in my am. std. strat.
I am wanting it to just clean up as i role my volume down... any reccomendations?

I like treble bleeds for my guitars, but I don't notice a whole lot of "cleaning up", as much as I do just taking Bass tones away as you roll down. It does a little cleaning up, There's a definite sweet-spot. But below 5 it's all treble and weak.

I like it mainly for neck pickups. I tend to use them a lot. But for a single bridge, the drawback would be that it takes something that's already on the trebly side, and takes whatever little bass is in it away. Can be real ear piercing.

I personally think it's most useful with neck pickups and humbuckers that are bassy than anything else.

Either way, it's an easy mod to install and take back off, so it wouldn't hurt to just try it and see how you like it. Takes a whole 10 seconds to solder it on or take it off.
