Unless the kids took the bus to the store while I was at work and didn't tell me, I'm not expecting anything this year. Maybe a new set of strings in the stocking but nothing worth taking pix of. Got myself a new guitar last Christmas so guess can wait another year.

Excellent thinking! I am afraid I already opened a present from my wife, the new Vox classic wah. It was her idea to open it early ok. It is very cool. Looking forward to seeing others treasures.

I hear I might be getting a few sets of the D'addario .11s I use on my Strat. But you never know. For my birthday, my wife got me SRV's live DVD. She knows what I like, anyway!

Beyond that, I'm not expecting anything, and I'm very happy just to be able to drive home and see my family for a week.

Do presents for yourself count? I bought myself a American Standard HSS Strat last week and it's my first top end guitar. My wife signed the credit card slip so I told her that she bought it for me :) . Its Blizzard Pearl with a maple neck. No pics yet I've been too busy pretending to be Jimmy minus the fro...and the talent :D

I promise to post pics of any guitar gear I recieve, but I doubt I get any. Musical stuff is the farthest item my family is going to get me.

I like the topic. Hopefully many lucky forum members will receive some new gear. Myself, I don't believe that I will be receiving any gear or guitars, but I think my bro got me a guitar strap with a Jerry Garcia design that he says fits perfectly with my '08 Amer. Dlx. Strat with Chrome Silver finish and a black/silver pearloid pickguard. I'm really excited about that (I love Jerry and everything associated with the man), but other than a strap (which I am really excited about and will post photos) I'm not expecting much.
I hope Santa will bring a bunch of guitars, amps, and related gear to all of the great contributers to this forum, and I hope we get to see pictures of all this new gear as soon as possible.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Hanukkah and everything else boys and girls.

Russ

well, for me, my Xmas gift won't arrive til after Jan it seems... or whenever the damn custom shop marketing dpt. decides to ship TBO out...

also, I have a Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium Plus in layaway that I'm getting out with some money I had saved... ill pick it up the day after Xmas... other than that I'm good... I kinda spent the possible Xmas allowance when I bought the '64 relic and '58 Tele relic...
