I love the neckplate on my AmDlx and the contoured heel. The Microtilt really lets you tweak things finely. I might replace the plain neckplate on my HW1 with a custom engraved one as the finishing touch after customizing it.

See I think the three bolt neck was Leo's design idea and has nothing to do with cost cutting measures. It even went on with him to G&L for use. Don't forget Leo was an Advisor. CBS cost cutting measures were not done in the 70's at the time of the three bolt. Cost cutting was the early 80's.

ok, back to my original question, then there is no diff. in cosmetic appearance of all strat bodies? Again, I know about 3, 4 holes, types of wood, weight of wood. Did the tuck get deeper cuz of obesity?
