Dang - I didn't realize all you needed to be a Bluesman was a repetitive lick or two, a crappy area of town to film a video in, and be able to talk and growl through your licks.

I think I'm ready. I'm going to go tune up my Tele and get started. Look soon for my first #1 hit...

Maybe Romeo should give his guitar to Prince at least it would be in the hands of someone that can play.If Romeo had the talent of the woodcrafter he'd be doing OK.As for this Tony Ray Polaski he's the most delusional self-absorbed twit I' ve ever come across,if this guy is for real and not joking around he really has some serious mental health issues. As for Romeo I notice that he's from Huntington WV,maybe he's in the delusional stages of Huntington's Chorea.

Towards the middle I was like..."When does it end." Listen to 20 seconds and that is all you need. I went from start to finish just to see if there was a change up of any kind.

RK I was exactly the same its like a 4 minute intro. Now I generaly like this kind of stuff out of muddy waters. He's done a few brilliant (some of his best songs) 1 riff songs. But its all been done before. This is imitation/flattery to the point of disrespect. We can all see who the guy adores and wants to emulate. Why cant he just have the attitude of 'yeah I like that. I'll take a bit of it, make it my own and evolve it." I think we'd all do our heroes more honour if we thought like that.

You can't use your tele, you have to use a guitar that looks like a strat's abnormal discharge...

Hi my name is Tony Ray Pulaski and I am a Bluesman. I play a 1961 Fender
Stratocaster which is all original and strung with .011's into an Ibanez
tubescreamer which has been modified with a 4558 chip and all carbon comp
resistors. I use a Fender Deluxe Reverb amplifier which was gutted and all
the resistors were replaced with NOS allen bradley carbon comps. I play the
real blues like my main man Stevie Ray Vaughan, in fact I have one of his
guitar picks which I wear around my neck for mojo. I am currently engaged to
an african-american woman from Arkansas and our experiences together (such
as people whispering about us and the dirty looks we get at dinner) form the
basis for my blues.

I need a bass player and a drummer to back me up in the studio and maybe for
some gigs too. The bass player needs to have a Fender bass built BEFORE 1965
with no ceramic tone caps ( I will have my tech at auditions to open up and
check) must use all tube amplifiers pre-1980, with an 8x10 cabinet and own
transportation. The drummist needs to be familiar with all the various blues
beats like the shuffle, the flat tire, the shug, the funky dunk, and the
whap-a-dang. Please, no Sonar or Pearl kits!

I have written an albums worth of songs "The Blues Are Falling Down On Me"
"Cold Blue Rain" "I Got The Blues For My Baby" "Bluesman Blues". And need a
back up band to help record it.

When applying for either position, please send a detailed description of
your equipment (with photos) along with photos of yourself in gig clothing.
After receiving that, I will call you to arrange an audition.

I got my mojo woiking and I hope yours is too

He sure isn't asking for much

It is fine to know what you want in terms of detail. If you are really discriminating it can help you identify exactly what you are looking for.But this guy hasn't yet learned what real blues is all about. The people that invented blues and the ones who play it today in the delta region couldn't always afford the best gear.A lot of those people were brought up in extreme poverty but could make the crappiest gear sound awesome because of the soul they put into the music....that is what real blues is all about.Whenever I go to some juke joint in Mississippi, they are often playing budget $200 guitars through cheap solid state amps....no fancy custom shop stuff. And yet they make their gear sound sound so much better than most people you hear playing their $4000 guitars plugged into boutique amps.Blues is about keeping it real, not hiding behind fancy gear.I love playing expensive guitars but I know that what makes you a great blues player is the soul and tone in your fingers....not the guitar.

Nah atleast our Vin can write a decent bunch of lyrics, a chorus and a middle8.

That would have been after his routine moring sit on the throne, while drinking his instant coffee & having a roll-your-own ciggy. Watching Goodmorning Australia on the telly through the door in the other room- marvelling at the image quality with his new 30ft high T.V aerial, oblivious to the complaining neighbours

At least he would have made a video of his computer desk with all sorts of colourful visual effects, with an image of his screen relaying that image- to top it off he would have called it an apparition of majestic angels, then later in the day he would have seen the virgin mary in an aparition and be inspired to write music with lonelyboy...

repeating that process over and over...

I miss vin... he is a bloody legend and he would eat this guy in a second if they were dueling  :D

You forgot the alien landing in back yard, whilst being defended from a bunch of hells angels by the ghost of Barry White.

Your right Vinny would have laughed this joker off and then offered to manage his career and sell him some very expensive plates.
