Hi,

I just bought a LoneStar USA 2001 (SN : Z1 + 6 digits)
I'm really confused because I see a "Deluxe LoneStar" in the Fender Products but I can't find anything on my model. Of course, I have no documents... nothing but my guitar and it's serial number on it...)
I tried to find informations on the web but we can find a lot of different versions... I also check the serial number's list at Fender's but it doesn't tell much about the guitar's spec.

Is there anywhere I can find REAL informations on my guitar which I only know the serial number ?

Thanks a lot.

By the way, this guitar is gorgeous ;-)

Great find. What you have became the Texas Special Fat Strat until it was discontinued in 2003.I have one from 03 in Chrome Silver .I later renoved the humbucker in favor of a single coil.It is physically the exact same specs as the American Series which was discontinued in favor of the present American Standard. If you e-mail Fender, they can probably send you the specs.I know that it has 2 Texas Special custom staggered pickups and a Semour Duncan "pearly gates " in the bridge with a 5 way "super switch " which allows you to split the humbucker .Home that helps.

The lonestar Strat IMHO is one of the best non custom shop Strats on the market the Pearly gate in the bridge allows you to cut threw the mix with your leads. Then the Texas specials give you a fantastic warm vintage blues tone ..Congrats on a very nice guitar..
If i was to go out and buy another Strat the Lonestar MIA model would be the one i would go after

Thank you all for your comments and posts.
Special thanks to Fender for keeping this good relationship with there customers (It's sooooo rare these days).
