Ahhhh, that's some nice playing.
Wish I could only play like this, that's some high level here.

Thanks for the vid link.

Ray.

This Youtube video was posted before the release of roadworn instruments
except for custom shop.

If so, that doesn't change the fact that he is playing a Road Worn.
I read somewhere that he said it was a Road Worn series. Read the comments below the video on YouTube.

Of course it proves it wasnt a roadworn. How do you make a video playing a guitar that fender isnt going to release for a month or however long it was between that video being posted and roadworns being released?

Theres a galaxy of difference between roadworn and customshop relic guitars, its got nothing to do with the paintjob. The two should never be confused.

RW or not, that tone in this video is very nice.

I only wished he could use the bridge pup for screaming licks.

My MIM only has 1/4 or less of that tone and that makes me want
to add some CS69 in it, I heard a lot of examples of them ( played on clean channel as much as possible )
and it's exactly the tone I'm looking for.

I don't know when this video was posted, and honestly... I don't care.
I put it here just because I like the tone of that strat and that classic Hendrix song played in a different way. The way I like it, jazzy.
Anyway, I said it was RW because that's what I read on YouTube, and because the guy on the video said it was RW '60s. One would believe that the guy, Davide Pannozzo, would know what guitar he played, so...

I just thought I should share this new finding, if you like, and talk about it if any of you get to like it by any chance. Now, I didn't want to make any fights over the date of the video and so forth (that is completely irrelevant in this case, for, I had different intentions when I posted this), just to see what you on this forum thought of this man's tone overall. And playing.

I think he has a strange voice (not bad, but different), and I liked his playing very much. That's about it!

Goran

Update: Just saw the date of the video. And...it makes no difference! Just enjoy the playing!

He does know what he is playing and it's not a Roadworn Strat...

I thought it was adequate until he started singing. I had to turn it off then.

My mistake then!

As I said earlier a couple of times, it doesn't matter! I like the tone and playing. And...that's about it!
