Hi there, lovin my new sienna sunburst. Is there an easier way to remove the plastic on pickguard other than to remove all 11 screws plus pickup screws?

I was able to remove the plastic from all three of my Strats pretty easily just peeling it off. There were one or two screws that had to be loosened to remove some small remaining pieces but that was it.

I bet if you use a blowtorch, none of the plastic film will remain. None of the guitar will either, but at least the film will be gone!!

Loosen each screw two turns it willl peal right off around them. Then either pop the knobs or slowly work around them and split the plastic toward them then pull apart Main thing is don't rush it!!!!.
