Post subject: 2000 deluxe players strat question

I just picked up one of these models of mim guitar.
It is the model that came out before the deluxe players strat.
does anyone know much about the pickups in this model of guitar.
They call them , New Super Fat "Super" Strat Single Coil Pickups.
they sound really great.
Did they only make them for a short period as I cant find anything on them.

I dont know bout that but i have a 2007 one and it has "Vintage Noisless" pups
