I have been comissioned to a project, But before I start picking through parts and such. drilling holes, shaving pickguards ..... 8)
Will a MIA Fender 11 hole pickguard fit an 11 hole Carvin Bolt(Strat style)?
The website Carvin has claims it will fit, but after eyballing it I'm not sure :D
Anyone by chance know?

PS, I am replacing the loud humming 11 pole Carvin with Active EMG 81/85's. Should sound killer.

Yep, I have that pu combination in my old ventura, and have since about 1995. The 81 in the bridge is great for high gain, and the 85 to me is the better all around pu. In fact, I think if I did it again, I would go 85/85

Yup it'll fit. A buddy of mine had to make the switch after he tried to cut a humbucker hole in the Bolts pickguard. Let's just say it didn't go to well and he ended up buying a replacement Fender pickguard.

We did a prewired Carvin PG onto a MIM strat and it fit fine. I believe one of the holes was off but other than that exactly the same.

It will fit, but check whether you need the "1962" screw alignment or the more modern screw alignment: one hole is different between the two styles.

It fits but looks different. You may have to drill some new holes.

I like Carvin pickups but would rather do my own wiring and have a 100 percent standard tech pg outline.
