Planning on getting the Daphne Blue one but wanted to know if they used Nitro glucose paint. Also, anybody's experience with them.

They use polyurethane like all american standards.

Then how thick is it? Would it be as much as seen on the Mexican Stratocasters or is it thinner?

I don't know. Urethane is generally thick though- does it matter how thick it is? they will be the same as the American Standard

I want my next Strat to have that new poly fructose paint job. Taste like candy apple and looks like it too!!
