So I soldered the ground wire to the claw, and it made a horrible buzz when I touched any metal on the guitar. So I re-soldered, and it is still doing it. What gives? It is a texas special prewired loaded pickguard from Metalshopmusic on ebay, it has 2 black wires and 1 white. I called them and the said it the black were both ground, and maybe it was a cold solder.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like a cold solder to me.

A cold solder joint would tend to exhibit symptoms of a loose connection or no connection at all. You are obviously getting a solid, yet improper connection there. Check that the errant black wire isn't soldered to the positive terminal (where the white wire is) on the output jack.

the black and white aren't in the same, but does it matter to which side they are on as long as it isn't the same?

Yes it does. One terminal is the positive, the other is the negative. The positive terminal can be traced to the prong of the jack; the negative terminal can be traced to the center metal frame of the jack.
