I have finally decided to sell my 94 MIM Floyd Rose Strat after installing the Lace sensor Pick ups and having a pro set up done..I'm going to finally take the plunge and try E-bay after getting feed up with craigslist...My problem is i'm not sure what to ask for it and what would be a fair price..
A new MIM Floyd Rose Strat sells for $700 at musicians friend with a gig bag and free shipping..My Guitar is older but is in very good shape it has 2 very minor blemishes. One on the front of the body the size of a pencil eraser end..That is shaped like this @ but doesn't break the paint. The other is on the back of the neck at roughly the 14th fret and is about a quarter inch long indentation about the thickness of a fingernail..Other than that it is excellent..
It also has a Red/Silver lace sensor dually at the bridge position and a Gold Lace sensor at the neck position it is pro setup with a hard case...
Im trying to figure out what would be a fair price for it and the best way to sell it on ebay..I have heard it is best to just sell it with no reserve or starting price ..But this is rather scary to me as i have seen good guitars sell way below value this way..But then it seems like if you do the buy it now routine they never sell..
If anyone can help me figure out a fair price and the best way to sell on ebay it would be appreciated..

Just keep in mind if you sell it on Ebay, you have to pay final value fees, which is roughly about 8%.
I don't know what you're asking on Craigslist, and what kind of offers you're getting, but sometimes it might just be worth it to lower the price some, maybe about equal to what the final value fee would be.

I haven't decided on a price yet ...I would hope to get around $450 for it..But that is why i'm asking the forum what a fair price would be..I live in St Louis and i have never been able to sell a guitar on craigslist..I have listed some incredible values only to get a lot of tire kickers and low ballers..Thats why i'm going to ebay.
