Well it looks about right. That doesnt explain the lack of serial no' though. Even customshop one off's have a serial no'. The only strat I know of that doesnt is 53Strat's 1953 prototype.

I suspect its stolen if its legit. Even a japanese 57reissue is very cheap @ $850 with a good amp and a boss pedal.

Its not mexican because of the truss end billet. Its walnut rather than black plastic. The maple board with heel end truss adjustment make it a 56 or 57 RI. 56 would be common for customshop, which I'm sure its not.

The logo looks a smidgen off line. That could have been the way they were then, or just the photo though.

hey tuffguy ,

its a good buy. doubt its a custom shop.
it could be a mim 50s classic strat. which have the trussrod adjustment at the heel of the neck.
which brand new is around 750, sale 599 ive seen lowest at a local bestbuy, and the princeton amp is a nice amp somewhere along the price range of 800-950.

worth talking the guy down.
