Hi guys:
I have a double Strat neck guitar (12 on top and 6 at the bottom) that I got from my uncle. He bought the guitar in Canada and it's one of those Mij from the 80's.
I am trying to put it together but don't have the wiring schematics!! NEED HELP!!! Anyone will know how to get it???? I already Emailed Fender Custom Shop, but because it is a MIJ they cannot help!!
I will be willing to pay for the help!
Thanks guys!
Fernando.

the wiring schematics would be the same as on an ordinary guitar (basically you'll have to wire 2 guitars ...in theory.....I know it's one) and then hook it up to one output jack, unless there are two which would mean that each neck gets it's own jack.
It also depends on what pickup configuration you have.

Hi:
Thanks.... but , I noticed that Gibsons have a switch that it will change the upper neck to the lower neck or vice versa..... In this Strat, there is no switch ( or svisible hole that could have had a switch) for that effect. Thus, if you wire the two guitars into the same jack, then bth will be playing at the same time... right?? I mean.... is that the way it was supposed to be?
Thanks again
Fernando.

Marillions guitarist Steve Rothery used to play one.
(I shall refer to each neck and pickup set as a seperate guitar)
From what I could see there were two Volume pots on it? one under the top guitar, and the bottom guitar then had a Volume and two tone pots. If

(edit) heres a pic of a double neck strat, 12 & 6 string like yours, shows the second vol pot-

all I know is that the 2 necks CAN be played simultaneously. Stevie Ray and Jimmie Vaughan played one together for MTV's "Marti Gras" in '87. They played Rude Mood/Pipeline. It's track 12, disk 2 on the boxed set.

Wire in 2 output jacks so they can be used separately and combined. You may want to switch to the 12-string for a "part" of a tune, then, back to the 6-string.
