I wouldn't care if it would be green or purple! I just can't wait to see it. This thread is the main reason I registered to these forums, thanks Ceri :D

Well, Sea Foam Green or Surf Green are both nice...even for non-Pryocasters!

What if Ceri finishes fixing the guitar and then throws it into the fireplace just to spite everyone?!?!?

If that happened, the Phoenix-caster would raise out of the ashes and mod Ceri in ways that are best left unspoken.

On my way home as it happens. Though I dunno why - this thread seems to get on so much better without me!

Still, last stretch starting shortly.

Meantime, to while away the hours while I'm in transit we can play name that cocktail.

Or name that guitar bridge if you prefer...

Normal service resumes in due course.

Hi MelodicMinor: no and yes. It is not the VS100 from earlier on this thread - which turned out to my surprise to be a VS50 bought by mistake.

It is in fact the new-ish VS401, which I've never used before and am curious to try. I've had it on order from WD Music since before Christmas; they seemed to have a long job getting one out of Gotoh. Now it's here...

Back in the saddle. More later.

Cheers - C

Obviously didn't take it to Etna, so I expect there'll be further progress.

Pehaps the answer to your question can be found in the clarity of your perception at the time of your writing. 8)

And we're back.

OK, before we start, a few matters arising:

Hey guys and girls, just thought I'd say this is the thread that got finally made me sign up to these forums. The level skill and creativity here is amazing Ceri, you're a backyard wonder :D. Been following this thread for nearly 3 months, can't wait to see how the neck/guitar turns out :).

I just spent a good 4 hours reading through this thread, and i have constantly been astounded by the care, precision and attention to the little details that Ceri has shown, and this is my first time posting anything to the forums. Ceri u are a master! i can't wait to see the guitar finished.

Even by the standards of the nice comments here abouts those are very charming posts from (at the time) more or less first-time posters. Thank you very much - I'm undeservingly honored. :D

However:

There have been other posts where references have been made about the possibility of Ceri being a 007 type secret agent. Hmmm, do some of us know too much???

Possibly on a globe trotting 007 mission?

Look, I simply have no idea what this is all about. I've seen absolutely no evidence round here to support what you are all implying...

...

Oh well, movin' on. Remind me, what did we decide to do about a neck for this guitar...?

Well, thank you mate, I will. I'll have a "Piledriver". Just the right nightcap for a 68 yearold. That's three fingers prune juice, two fingers vodka, and one finger....well.....never mind!
Doc
